About Haggai Vision Ministries

Get to Know Us

The Markleys and Forsters were introduced over a decade ago through a life group at a local Lees Summit Church, little did they know from their first time meeting that Jesus would be quietly weaving together two families who ten years later, states apart would move across the globe to an island the size of Arizona with a population over 100% times more than Arizona and, one of the top 5 cities known for its povertous living conditions. Two families called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and build up Gods temple by equipping children and youth with the gospel, parenting the parentless, and serving surrounding communities. A vision that was inspired through the prophet Haggai through three simple strategies:

MGA TRIBU (Tribes) : On the off Grid Island of Jintotolo resources are limited, and aside from school and basketball the children and youth aren't left with life giving activities.  Tribes or otherwise known as  Mga Tribu in Tagalog  is the cornerstone for the foundation of building Gods temple. Through weekly meetings that will be centered around Christ, games, food  and the building of intimate relationships.

JESUS CENTERED SUMMER YOUTH CAMPS:  When school is out for the summer in the Philippines this brings a greater strain on an already struggling people. We have chosen to create a place where children and youth can come and experience Jesus in a setting that is fun, encouraging, and all the while coming along parents to take some of the financial strain away.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH  PARTNERSHIP: At the heart of everything we do is Jesus—His love compels us to step into our community, serve with humility, and meet people where they are. Through outreach, we reflect His compassion in tangible ways, opening doors to build genuine relationships and trust. It’s in these moments of connection that the Good News of the Gospel is not just spoken, but lived out, creating space for hope, healing, and transformation while giving back to the very community we’re called to love
